Website Announced!

They said it would never happen.

They were almost right.

But at last, I felt the http://www.iandaglish.co.uk/ website was about ready to announce to the world.

I am sorry it's not a 'dot.com'. I have got the domain name, but the people I got it from do not seem able to host it properly, and frankly I'd rather get going without waiting for them to exdigitate.

Anyway, welcome. Come in and have a look around. And do feel free to post any comments, here on the blog or via the contact page on the website itelf!

  1. Ian,

First! What an honor. Welcome to the blogosphere. I have this wonderful letter from the nice lady at Casemate and am overdue in writing her back. We have the review copy of the latest "Over the Battlfield" title, "Operation Bluecoat Breakout from Normandy" and will be reviewing it in one of our publications soon.

Good luck with you web endeavors. I have no doubt you will break new ground in this metaphor, as you did in military history books and sims.

  2. It was good to meet you this summer, and in such a fitting place as Caen in what may have passed for a military barracks. Nothing like Normandy in June to get the imagination rolling. It wasn't two minutes after I got to my room with you book clutched in my hot little hands that I realized I should have taken a photograph of the two of us. What a missed opportunity. Glad to see you establish a beachhead on the Internet, and am looking forward to some thought-provoking discussion here.

  4. Dear Sir, I was trying to send you an email with some questions about the research you did concerning your books "Over the battlefield: Goodwood" and "Over the battlefield: Epsom". Unfortunately, the link to your email-adress was not functioning. Is there another way to get in contact with you ?

    Kind regards,
